Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) Privacy Policy
Version: 1.0 Effective Date: August 31, 2026 Website: hannatechnologyadvisors.com
1. Who We Are
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) is the public brand operated by Hanna Technology Advisors LLC (HTA). Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) is based in California, United States, and provides technology advisory, automation, digital products, and related business and technology services.
This Privacy Policy explains how Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, interact with our services, purchase eligible digital products, subscribe to communications, or otherwise engage with us.
In this Privacy Policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA).
2. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed through:
- hannatechnologyadvisors.com and its public pages;
- contact and inquiry forms;
- business communications;
- marketing subscriptions and related preferences;
- Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) Digital Products pages and related storefront interactions;
- approved analytics, security, CRM, and automation workflows; and
- other interactions where this Privacy Policy is presented or referenced.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the HTA Content Console, our internal administrative application used only by authorized Hanna Technology Advisors personnel to manage website content. Authenticated administrative sessions there are governed by our internal access and security practices, not by this public-visitor-facing policy.
This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy policies or terms of independent third-party services that you choose to use, including payment, storefront, or other external platforms.
3. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA), we may collect the following categories of information.
A. Information You Provide Directly
Depending on the form, service, or interaction, this may include:
- name;
- business or other email address;
- phone number;
- company or organization;
- job title or role;
- area of interest or inquiry topic;
- message or information you choose to provide;
- preferred contact method;
- marketing communication preferences;
- purchase or support-related information;
- information submitted in connection with a privacy request; and
- other information you voluntarily provide to us.
Our general contact form is not intended for highly sensitive information.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, private keys, authentication tokens, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through our general contact form.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you use our website, we or our approved service providers may automatically receive limited technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed;
- referring pages or sources;
- approximate geographic information derived from technical data;
- timestamps and basic interaction information;
- security, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic information; and
- cookie, consent, or similar preference information.
The specific information collected depends on which website technologies are active and on your applicable consent choices. At present, the public website does not run non-essential analytics or advertising technologies - see Section 7.
C. Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from third parties when necessary to provide or support our services. Examples may include:
- digital-product storefront and payment providers;
- analytics or advertising providers, where enabled and permitted;
- CRM, communication, or automation providers;
- service providers supporting website security, hosting, or infrastructure; and
- information that you or another authorized person asks a third party to provide to us.
4. How We Use Personal Information
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and requests;
- communicate about requested services;
- evaluate potential business engagements;
- provide advisory, automation, digital-product, support, or related services;
- process and support eligible digital-product purchases;
- manage business relationships and CRM records;
- send operational, transactional, or support communications;
- send marketing communications when permitted and appropriately opted into;
- understand website usage and improve website performance;
- measure the effectiveness of approved marketing activities;
- maintain website and information security;
- detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- maintain records reasonably necessary for business, accounting, legal, or compliance purposes;
- enforce applicable agreements or policies;
- protect the rights, safety, and security of Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA), our users, customers, and others; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
We seek to collect and use only information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
5. Contact Forms and Business Communications
Submitting a contact form does not automatically subscribe you to promotional marketing.
We may use the information you submit to:
- respond to your inquiry;
- contact you about the subject of your request;
- evaluate whether Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) can assist you;
- maintain appropriate CRM or business relationship records; and
- provide reasonable follow-up relating to the inquiry.
Our contact form fields include name, business email, company or organization, area of interest, message, and an optional marketing opt-in checkbox that is never pre-selected.
Where a privacy acknowledgement is presented, it is used to direct you to this Privacy Policy and confirm that you have had an opportunity to review it.
6. Marketing Communications
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not automatically enroll ordinary contact-form users into promotional marketing.
Where we offer marketing subscriptions:
- the marketing choice is presented separately from the normal contact inquiry;
- marketing checkboxes are not pre-selected by default;
- you may unsubscribe from promotional communications by contacting us; and
- we may retain limited suppression information necessary to honor an unsubscribe request and avoid accidentally resubscribing you.
Operational communications about an inquiry, purchase, delivery, support matter, security matter, license issue, correction, or other service-related matter are different from promotional marketing and may still be sent when reasonably necessary.
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not plan to purchase email lists for marketing.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Consent Choices
At initial launch, hannatechnologyadvisors.com uses only technologies reasonably necessary for the website and our administrative systems to function and remain secure - for example, technologies that keep an authorized administrator's login session working. We do not currently run non-essential analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may in the future adopt analytics (such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, together with Google Search Console for search-performance and indexing information) or advertising/remarketing technologies (such as Google Ads measurement). If and when any such technology is activated, we will update this Privacy Policy beforehand to describe it accurately, and we intend to keep non-essential technologies disabled until you provide the applicable consent.
We do not automatically upload contact-form or CRM information into advertising audience-matching systems without a separately approved policy and implementation decision.
Do Not Track and similar signals
Because the website does not currently run non-essential advertising or cross-site tracking technologies, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" or similar browser signal to opt you out of today. If that changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe how such signals are honored before the change takes effect.
8. Form Security and Anti-Bot Protection
Our contact form includes a hidden field designed to detect and reduce automated spam submissions, together with server-side validation before a submission is accepted. Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may adopt an additional service such as Cloudflare Turnstile in the future to further reduce spam and automated abuse; if adopted, it will be treated as a Necessary/Security technology, not an Analytics or Marketing tracker, and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
No anti-bot technology can guarantee that every accepted submission is made by a human, but these measures are intended to reduce automated and malicious submissions.
9. Digital Products, Storefronts, and Payments
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may offer Digital Products through product-specific pages on hannatechnologyadvisors.com that link to an approved third-party storefront or checkout provider, such as Gumroad. As of this Privacy Policy's effective date, no Digital Product is available for public purchase and no storefront checkout is active.
Once a purchase path is active, this section will describe the specific storefront/payment provider in use. Where a purchase is processed through a third-party storefront:
- the storefront may collect payment, billing, transaction, delivery, and customer information under its own terms and privacy practices;
- Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may receive information reasonably necessary to support the purchase, delivery, licensing, support, refund review, or customer relationship; and
- Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not intend to collect or store full payment-card information through its general website forms.
A third-party provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to information that provider processes independently.
10. Service Providers and Other Disclosures
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not sell or rent personal information.
We may disclose personal information to approved service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to:
- operate our website and infrastructure;
- host or store information;
- provide security and anti-abuse protections;
- provide requested services;
- process or support transactions;
- manage communications or CRM workflows;
- perform approved analytics or advertising activities, if and when activated;
- support automation;
- comply with legal obligations;
- investigate fraud or security incidents;
- protect rights, property, safety, or systems;
- enforce applicable agreements; or
- complete a legitimate financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Our current infrastructure providers include Hostinger (hosting) and Supabase (database and authentication). We may add providers such as Cloudflare, Google, Gumroad, and self-hosted automation tooling for legitimate business purposes as those capabilities are activated; a self-hosted automation instance exists in our infrastructure today but is not yet integrated with the public contact workflow.
Service providers should receive only information reasonably necessary for their assigned function.
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not disclose contact-form or CRM information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing by default.
11. Internal Access
Access to contact-form submissions and related CRM information is limited according to business need and least-privilege principles, through our internal administrative application (the HTA Content Console), which requires authenticated, multi-factor-verified access limited to authorized personnel.
Authorized access may include:
- the Founder / Principal;
- specifically authorized administrators or personnel.
Access is limited to the information necessary for the person's assigned responsibilities. Personal information is not intended to be publicly accessible or broadly available to personnel who do not need it.
12. Data Retention
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal, accounting, contractual, security, dispute, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements.
Contact-Form Submissions
Contact-form submissions are retained for five years from the date of submission, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary because of:
- an active business relationship;
- a legal or regulatory obligation;
- a dispute or claim;
- a fraud or security matter; or
- another legitimate business requirement.
At the end of the applicable retention period, the information should be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our retention process.
Other Records
Other information may have different retention periods. For example:
- transaction and tax-related records may be retained as required by applicable law or storefront/payment-provider requirements;
- security records may be retained for an appropriate security or investigative period;
- marketing suppression information may be retained as needed to honor an unsubscribe or opt-out request; and
- analytics information, if and when activated, may follow the retention settings of the applicable approved analytics provider.
13. Data Security
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Depending on the system, safeguards may include:
- least-privilege access controls, including role-based access and multi-factor authentication for our internal administrative application;
- protection of credentials, API keys, tokens, and private keys;
- HTTPS / TLS for data in transit;
- database-level access controls (Row Level Security) restricting who can read or modify stored data;
- reasonable patching and software maintenance;
- backups and recovery measures appropriate to the system;
- security and operational logging, including an internal audit trail of administrative actions;
- data minimization; and
- vendor and service-provider controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Security Incidents and Breach Response
If Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) becomes aware of a suspected security incident involving personal information, we may take steps to investigate, contain, preserve appropriate evidence, determine affected systems and individuals, remediate the underlying issue, restore system integrity, evaluate applicable notification requirements, and notify affected individuals, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by applicable law.
For California residents, Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) intends to follow applicable California breach-notification requirements, including required notifications without unreasonable delay and required regulator notifications when applicable.
15. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Depending on where you reside and which law applies, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which may include the ability to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of certain information, withdrawal of consent, adjustment of preferences, unsubscribe from marketing, and information about categories of personal information collected, used, or disclosed.
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may also voluntarily honor reasonable privacy requests even where a particular law does not require us to do so.
We may need to verify your identity using only the information reasonably necessary before providing access to, correcting, or deleting personal information.
Some requests may be limited where retention or processing remains reasonably necessary for legal obligations, accounting or transaction records, fraud prevention, security investigations, contractual obligations, disputes or claims, protection of rights and safety, or another lawful reason.
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) will not discriminate against an individual for exercising applicable privacy rights.
16. How to Submit a Privacy Request
You may submit a privacy-related request by email to info@hannatechnologyadvisors.com using a subject line such as "Privacy Request" and providing enough information for us to understand the request.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information when submitting a privacy request.
17. California Privacy Information
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) is based in California and applies California-oriented privacy and security practices as part of its baseline privacy program.
Publishing this Privacy Policy does not mean that Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) is representing that it currently meets the statutory definition of a business subject to every requirement of the California Consumer Privacy Act or California Privacy Rights Act. Where those laws or other California privacy laws apply, Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) will comply with applicable requirements.
Applicability should be reviewed periodically and when material changes occur in revenue, consumer-data volume, data-sharing practices, advertising practices, or business structure.
18. Children and Minors
The website and professional services of Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) are intended for a general adult, business, and professional audience and are not directed to children under 13. Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally sufficient parental or guardian authorization where required. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was collected unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless retention is legally required.
19. International Customers and Cross-Border Processing
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) is based in California, United States, and primarily serves the U.S. market while welcoming inquiries and business opportunities from other countries where services or products can be provided lawfully and practically. If you access our website or services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where approved service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.
20. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, storefronts, social networks, or services. Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties. You should review the privacy policy and terms of any third-party service before providing personal information to it.
21. Automated Workflows and CRM Processing
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may use approved automation technologies to route, organize, and respond to inquiries and business information in the future. A self-hosted automation instance exists in our infrastructure today but is not yet integrated with the public contact workflow. This Privacy Policy will be updated before any such integration goes live.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Hanna Technology Advisors (HTA) may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technologies, service providers, privacy practices, legal or regulatory developments, or operations. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date or otherwise provide notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
